Christmas Food Drive
The Ponca Elementary Student Council, The Good Ole Boys, and Thrivent Financial hosted a food drive to help restock the shelves of the Ponca Community Food Bank/Dixon County Food Bank in Ponca and the Dixon County Food Bank in Allen. Food and personal care items were loaded and delivered to the food banks on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Mr. Brian Burrell and Mr. Evan Uthof helped Mrs. Cindy Anderson and the student council representatives load and deliver collected items to the food bank locations, and additionally took the student council representatives on a shopping spree to the B&S Trading Post and Keller Pharmacy and delivered those items to the food banks. Student council members and Mrs. Anderson would like to thank Brian Burrell and Evan Uthof and the Good Ole Boys, Keller Pharmacy, B&S Trading Post, Thrivent Financial, Mrs. Suzette Curry, and the FBLA members, and everyone who donated to their food drive.
