NEW VACCINE REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENT OF THE 

2011-2012  SCHOOL YEAR!

Starting next fall (August 2011), all Nebraska students in grades K-12 are required by law to have 2 doses of varicella (chicken pox) vaccine OR written proof of having had the chicken pox disease.

Please schedule an appointment with your physician or your local immunization clinic as soon as possible to vaccinate your child if they don’t meet these requirements. Please send proof of vaccination to the school, as students will not be able to start school in the fall if they don’t meet Nebraska state immunization guidelines. If you have any questions, please notify Mrs. Herfel at Ponca Public School.

Goldenrod Hills will be in Ponca on March 8^th, May 10^th, and July 12^th from 11-2 pm.  They will also be in Newcastle on Feb 8^th, April 12^th, June 14^th, and August 9^th from 11-2 pm.  Please call 402-529-3513 for an appointment.
