Scheels/Ronald McDonald House
POP TABS!!!
If you haven't heard yet, Scheels is partnering with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland for an exciting new competition that's a win-win for schools and the Ronald McDonald House! After talking with Cindy Anderson, we have decided it would be pretty cool for our school to try and win this event!!! I am happy to announce that our school is 1 of 20 schools to participate in the challenge.
How it Works:
We will try and collect as many pop tabs (which many of us do anyway) as we can. I'll drop them off at Scheels on March 17th. The school with the most aluminum tabs collected, by weight, will win a $2000 Scheel's gift card! All pop tabs collected will still be donated to the Ronald McDonald House (like they are now), but in addition, our school will have a chance to receive a $2000 gift card from Scheels! Weighing will take place on March 18th and the winning school will be notified on March 19th.
I know we can do this! Our school and community are strong and supportive. Tabs can be turned in at Jackson, Ponca Elementary or to Mrs. Walsh.
