Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) Testing

The focus of the Ponca School District must remain on student learning as the state adds new testing tools. Additional information on each of the NeSA tests as well as practice tests can be found at the Nebraska Department of Education’s website.

Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) Writing Test

Since 2004, the Nebraska statewide writing assessment has been administered annually to students in grades 4, 8, and 11. The purpose of this test is to assess student progress in mastering basic skills based on Nebraska's writing standards.
