PONCA PUBLIC SCHOOLS

MISSION STATEMENT

Ponca Public School is committed to building a solid educational foundation for all individuals by providing a quality learning environment and promoting standards of excellence.

Governing Values/Beliefs

We believe that each individual has the right to and a responsibility toward providing an environment, which is safe, positive, and conducive to learning. We believe the size of our school should not limit excellence in our education. We believe that positive, open communication, respect, discipline, and accountability are key elements of a healthy educational system.

We believe that every student should have equal opportunity to be educationally challenged according to his/her abilities and learning styles. We believe that education is the responsibility of the family, shared by school, students, and community. We believe that academics are our priority at PPS while recognizing that extracurricular activities are a privilege.
