On Thursday, January 22nd, we held our annual 5–8 School Spelling Bee, and it was a fantastic event! 👏 Congratulations to Cooper Curry, who was named the 2025–2026 School Spelling Bee Champion! 🎉 We’d also like to congratulate the following students for placing in the Top 6 and earning a trip to the County Spelling Bee: •Weston Gotch •Ary Lowery •Sophia Bradberry •Kenlynn Robinson •Audrey Burrell (Alternate) The Spelling Bee will take place tomorrow, Wednesday January 28th at 1:00 in Allen! 💙 A huge shout-out to ALL of our spellers! Stepping onto that stage takes courage, confidence, and determination. We are so proud of each student for stepping up, stepping out, and giving it their best! Way to represent our school! 🐝✨

Due to extreme cold, Ponca Schools will have a 2-hour late start Friday, January 23rd. Busses will run accordingly, no morning activities.

What a night! The 2nd Ponca Battle of the Pep Bands was a HUGE success! It was a packed gym with four amazing bands competing for the title. So much energy and laughs. Huge shoutout to our Music Boosters and Mrs. Steckly for putting on a great evening! And to make the night even better, the Ponca Pep Bands claimed the title of best Pep Band for the evening! (We are not surprise)
