Nov. 2015 6th SS: Students learned about ancient Egyptian empire, and how Kush and Egypt influenced each other  
Dec. 2015 Reading: Island of the Blue Dolphins: Students read about a young girl and boy having conflict with foreginers regarding their Native American heritage.   
Dec. 2015 6th SS: Students learned how different cultures would embalm the dead.  
Jan. 2016 6th SS: Students learned how Sparta and Athens civilization differed with ours today. Including military, money, and rights.  
March 2016 Reading Single Shard: Students learned how respect differs from one culture to another.
