USD Quad State Honor Band
Launch the media gallery 1 playerEight of Ponca’s musicians were selected to participate in the University of South Dakota’s Quad State Honor Band on February 4-5! Grace Rooney, Brady Carnell, and Matthew Lentz will be participating in the Symphonic Band. Brooklyn Lowe, Karen Avlarado-Mendez, Lucas Hoesing, Matthew Hayes, and Austen Janssen will be participating in the Concert Band. These students were selected after sending in a taped audition that was judged along with other high school students in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. Students will be performing in a concert that is open to the public on Saturday, February 5th at 4:00 pm in Aalfs Auditorium in the Slagle Hall Building on the University of South Dakota campus.
