On Monday, August 10, Ponca Public School will host the Chromebook Rollout in the East Gymnasium. It will be hosted in two different sessions this year to observe physical distancing.
7th-9th grade students and one parent/guardian per family will attend this MANDATORY meeting from 6:00-6:45 P.M. 7th-grade students will have an opportunity to meet with their High School Buddy. High School Buddies are asked to meet in the Concession Stand Commons area at 6:15 P.M.
10th-12th grade students and one parent/guardian per family will attend this MANDATORY meeting from 7:00-7:45 P.M..
If you have children in both sessions, you only need to attend one session. Please just let us know when you come in to school to ensure you get paperwork for all your children.
Paperwork will be completed for this upcoming school year, and $25 will need to be paid for computer usage fee. 9th-12th grade students will receive their Chromebook on this evening.
Also taking place this night will be an Open House for all 7th-grade students, their families, and the High School Buddies. The Open House will be hosted immediately following the MANDATORY meeting in the East Gymnasium. All 7th-grade students will sign the paperwork and pay for their Chromebooks as well as receive their 2020-2021 class schedule. High School Buddies will be the tour guides for the 7th-grade students and their families. They will have time to practice their locker combinations.
We will ask that physical distancing and proper sanitizing take place during these meetings. If physical distancing is not able to be observed, masks are recommended.
