Josh has worked very hard for this title. He is extremely coachable, doing everthing we asked of him. The team & I will miss him very much. His family is the greatest, very supportive to him and the program. I would like to thank all those that escorted/Rescued us back into town on Saturday night, that was awesome!

One of the neat stories of wrestling is you get to meet your competitors face to face and get to know them. Josh tells of talking to Caitlin Rice of Cambridge, he said they talked of opponents they’ve wrestled and of football. They both played the same positions. Josh also stopped to talk to Anthony Nelson of Winside as he sat with an ice bag on his foot. He wrestled Anthony in semifinals of districts. Anthony re-injured an ankle wrestling Adam Crouch and had to default the match. He tried to wrestle the next day but the injury limited him and he lost. Josh is such a nice young man that other coaches and wrestlers were wishing him luck and then congratulations.
