2008 STATE BOUND BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM
Early Dismissal Thursday (1:00pm) and NO SCHOOL FRIDAY
Congratulations to the boys basketball team and coaches. Ponca beat Lutehran High NE 54 - 48 in the district championship at Hartington CC Tuesday evening. Ponca is the 2nd seed team in the state tournament in Lincoln, March 6 - 8th. The teams first game will be played at Lincoln Southeast, Thursday at 7:00 pm against Oakland Craig. There will be an early dismissal at 1:00 pm, to accommodate fans going to the 7:00 pm game. Regardless of the outcome of the game there will be no school on Friday, March 7th.
