IV. How are Title I students evaluated?
Goal: To have every student make at least one year’s growth and
eventually bring their reading and math skills up to or above grade
level.
At the Title I level, students are evaluated using Informal Reading
Inventories and by mastery of criterion referenced skills up to and
including the student’s grade in school.
At the elementary school level, students are evaluated with tools
such as achievement tests, unit and chapter tests, report card
grades, and teacher observations.
Above this, evaluations are given for our state Nebraska Standards
and federal No Child Left Behind requirements.
