MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Ponca Public School District is to provide all students the best education possible to prepare them to be productive citizens in a diverse society.
Governing Values/Beliefs
We believe that each individual has the right to and a responsibility toward providing an environment, which is safe, positive, and conducive to learning. We believe the size of our school should not limit excellence in our education. We believe that positive, open communication, respect, discipline, and accountability are key elements of a healthy educational system.
We believe that every student should have equal opportunity to be educationally challenged according to his/her abilities and learning styles. We believe that education is the responsibility of the family, shared by school, students, and community. We believe that academics are our priority at PPS while recognizing that extracurricular activities are a privilege.School Improvement Team General Goals
Students will demonstrate improvement in organization, content, word choice (vocabulary), voice, sentence fluency and standard English conventions after revising and editing their compositions.
Students will demonstrate a reduced number of intimidation and bullying incidents.
