This was our first year attending this tournament, previously we would travel to Greeley so we could see some of the western schools in our D-2 district.  Plainview consists of  ten class C schools,  2 class B schools, and 4 class D schools.  Syracuse is ranked in the top five B schools, Howells is Ranked #1 class D and Plainview is ranked top ten in C.  Every weight class was loaded with top quality wrestlers, many of who will make it to the state tournament.   215 had 4 ranked wrestlers, Harper form Arlington is a returning state placer.  Josh caught him and had him on his back in the 1st period as time ran out, he was ahead 5-4 in the second when he got caught by a Nebraka ride and got pinned.  Josh Wrestled an 8:30 min overtime match to defeated Clark of Plainview to get into the finals.    Riley lost, had a bye, won to get into the medal rounds ending up 6th losing to Inglehart of Luth. High.  This was the Toughest tournament for us so far this year.  We have one more reg. season Meet, our Conf. Quad then we go to Districts at Pender on Feb. 13th-14th.   Hopefully we will fair better at districts.
